The insights will help you communicate your ESG priorities to investors and comply with future regulatory requirements on "double materiality" (NFRD).

StrategY Workshops

Accelerate your ESG strategy definition. With our structured top management workshops, we provide you with efficient decision making templates to plan your long-term ESG roadmap. This enables you to systematically approach the next ESG steps and define ESG milestones for the coming months and years.

Target and Policy Development

Get specific. We support you in defining concrete quantitative and qualitative ESG targets. This will not only earn you valuable bonus points with your stakeholders - you can also use these targets to make ESG a part of executive board compensation. In addition, we will be more than happy to draft company-wide and rating-relevant ESG policies for you.

Use Case ESG Strategy

A company from a CO2-intensive industry, which is increasingly viewed critically by investors from an ESG perspective, asks for a fundamental realignment of its ESG strategy. This is the only way it can convince investors of a successful long-term adjustment of its business model.

The first step is an exploratory ESG workshop with members of the Executive and Supervisory Board. In this workshop, the consultants present an initial external assessment of the company’s status quo and future potential regarding ESG, and the company identifies the biggest internal ESG “pain points”. On this basis, ESG focus areas for the company are jointly defined.

The results of the workshop then form the basis for the materiality analysis, in which selected external and internal stakeholders are asked about their ESG priorities. This takes place in a structured manner and according to social science standards. The result is a clear materiality matrix that shows which ESG issues are of particular importance to the company.

In a first company-wide ESG data collection round, topic clusters are defined on which the company is already able to provide information in the short term – and gaps are identified that should be addressed in the future.

In final in-depth ESG workshops with top management, the materiality analysis and data collection are used to define what the future ESG roadmap for the company should look like. Initial decisions are also made at this stage regarding concrete ESG targets – for example, in terms of CO2 consumption or employee training hours. At the end of the ESG strategy phase, the discussed priorities, decisions and targets are prepared in a structured manner and handed over in a presentation-ready form. This enables the company to convince its investors and other stakeholders of its long-term ESG strategy.
